Atkin Jones Limited

At Atkin Jones we recognise and value the importance of operating in a sustainable way and believe this is an on-going process that should grow and develop alongside the work we do. We have developed and invested in our own Social Responsibility Charter to ensure we make changes and commitments that enable us to operate a triple bottom line. We have aligned ourselves with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which form part of our strategically developed targets to integrate sustainability into our everyday practices. Through discussions with our clients, partners and other stakeholders, we have undertaken a purpose mapping exercise to identify where we feel we can have the most impact.

We are members of the Good Business Charter, an accreditation process which recognises responsible business practices consisting of 10 different components covering employees, tax, the environment, customers and suppliers. We are also committed to making a positive impact on our communities through volunteering and knowledge-sharing and have pledged to give back to society through donations to selected charities.

Atkin Jones Limited, together with our travel safety consultancy Sanderson Phillips, operates in the travel, leisure and lifestyle industries. Due to our presence in travel and our strong network of clients and stakeholders, we are able to see first-hand the importance of operating with a sustainable mindset for every single person in the travel and tourism sphere. We believe that every person and organisation has a responsibility to do their best to try and live and work in a way that benefits People, Planet and Prosperity for all. As acknowledgement of this and as part of our wider Atkin Jones Social Responsibility Charter, we are signed up and committed members of Tourism Declares and the Glasgow Declaration.

We are also members of the Global Sustainability Tourism Council (GSTC) who set global standards for sustainability in travel and tourism, helping us to operate more responsibly for ourselves and our clients via our sister brand Sanderson Phillips.
