Shaping the future through sustainable public procurement – green building considerations
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), together with the Organization of American States (OAS), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), hosted the webinar "Shaping the future through sustainable public procurement – green building considerations" on April 29, 2021.
This is the third webinar of a small series on sustainable public procurement, as part of the joint UNEP and OECS Commission “Strengthening Sustainable Public Procurement in the Eastern Caribbean” initiative. It provides a general introduction to green building considerations for public procurement in the context of the Caribbean, touching upon various aspects of green buildings – from design to construction, operations and maintenance, as well as disposal of materials.
