Is the knowledge gap too wide for innovative sustainable tourist accommodation?

Review of 110 scientific studies that discuss saving energy and water resources at tourist accommodation. Findings show that we do not have sufficient research data to achieve target emission savings and industry aspirations. Key elements of geography, build environment and behaviour must be considered in unison to achieve deep savings.
