Join the Sustainable Food Systems Programme’s Multi-stakeholder Advisory Committee!

The Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme is partially renewing its Multi-stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC). All countries and organizations that are already members of the SFS Programme, are eligible to apply for MAC membership.
The regular term for MAC members is for two years and offers the opportunity to be closely involved with driving progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. MAC members meet three to four times per year (at least one face-to-face meeting) to provide technical and strategic advice to the Co-Leads in defining and implementing the Programme based on their expertise and experience. In addition, they are encouraged to actively participate the SFS Programme’s different working groups, joint policy advocacy efforts, and in a range of further initiatives and activities.
If you currently are an official partner or MAC member of the SFS Programme, you should already have received the call for expressions of interest with all the necessary materials. The deadline for MAC application is July 31st, 2023. Reach out to sfsprogramme@blw.admin.ch in case you may not have received the application materials.
If you are interested in joining the SFS Programme’s MAC but are not yet a Programme partner, please submit your partnership application (annex 1 of terms of reference) and inform us via email (sfsprogramme@blw.admin.ch) by June 30th, 2023.
Please note that the SFS Programme is also in a process to renew its co-leadership. In case your organization may be interested in playing an even more active role in the Programme, and to learn more about the roles and responsibilities that come with being part of the SFS Programme co-leadership team, please reach out to sfsprogramme@blw.admin.ch.
