We are pleased to announce that Bethan Laughlin has recently joined the Coordination Desk of the Consumer Information Programme (CI-SCP) in addition to her role as Sustainable Consumption Lead at Consumers International.

Taking over from Naomi Scott-Mearns who left Consumers International in November 2020, Bethan will be working alongside Nils Heuer on the Coordination Desk of the Consumer Information Programme.
Bethan is joining the team from a background of working in the UK Parliament as a policy advisor in the House of Lords, with a specific focus on environmental policy.
Quote from Bethan:
“I am thrilled to be joining the team here at the Consumer Information Programme and continuing the work of innovating and collaborating on advancing sustainable consumption and credible consumer information through our initiatives worldwide. I am very much looking forward to connecting with MAC members and partners in driving the program forward in its objectives of increasing the standard and scale of consumer sustainability information. In this time of a climate, pollution and biodiversity crisis, the role of consumer information in sustainable consumption and production is more important than ever, so the opportunity to work on this vital area is a true pleasure and I am excited to get started in working with the network and team.”
