GLASGOW DECLARATION ON CLIMATE ACTION AT COP 27

During the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 27) in Sharm El Sheik, Arab Republic of Egypt, two official side events in the Blue Zone are being organized:

  • 10 November (11:30 hrs – 13:00 hrs (UTC 2), Venue: Blue Zone – Room Khufu): POLICIES AND CORPORATE STRATEGIES SCALING-UP CLIMATE ACTION IN TOURISM – THE GLASGOW DECLARATION
 
During the side event, high-level policy makers and corporate leaders will reflect on the implementation of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism, which was launched at COP26, especially focusing on policies and corporate strategies which are supporting emissions measurement and the decarbonization of tourism operations. High-level policy makers and corporate leaders will reflect on the implementation of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism, which was launched at COP26, especially focusing on strategic approaches which are supporting regenerative approaches at destination level and innovative finance.
