Future Food Together: shifting consumer behaviour and collaborating with food systems actors in the Global South

  • Published on December 3, 2021

The WWF project “Establish Sustainable Consumption and Production in Thailand, Indonesia and The Philippines”, affiliated to the SFS Programme, has concludes its Phase I. The implementing WWF teams contributed to the mitigation of carbon emissions in the agri-food system through collaborative interventions, summarized in these three case studies. The initiative recently expanded to Paraguay and Colombia, creating the Future Food Together initiative, through the continued support from Germany’s Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Through this cooperation it has also recently supported the SFS Programme’s initiative on Multi-stakeholder Mechanisms as well as the upcoming WWF report “True Cost Accounting and Dietary Patterns”, which will be launched on 9thDecember in a side event at the Nutrition for Growth Summit (register here).
