Explore the implications of the new ISEAL Credibility Principles
Since their first publication in 2013, the ISEAL Credibility Principles have defined the core values of trustworthy sustainability systems that deliver impacts. In June 2021, ISEAL published an updated Version 2 of the principles following extensive consultation.
The ISEAL Credibility Principles principles help organisations developing standards and similar sustainability tools to understand which attributes of their system are critical to the credibility of their approach, and why this matters for improving sustainability performance and delivering impacts. The principles also help businesses, governments, and civil society to identify systems that can be effective partners in delivering against shared sustainability objectives. The principles are available in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
In September and October, ISEAL and Evidensia co-hosted a webinar series to take a deep dive into how and why the new Credibility Principles are important. Join researchers, practitioners and other experts to explore the content and implications of the principles.
