Call for Project Proposals: Green Public Procurement Plus Project

Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), in cooperation with the UN Environment Programme, are calling for proposals. Deadline is 14 April.

Following the successful 2017-2018 Asia Pacific GPP Partnership project in Thailand and Viet Nam, Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) is announcing a new Call for Proposals for Green Public Procurement Plus Project this year in cooperation with UN Environment Programme (UNEP). The purpose of the project is to lay a strong foundation for market development for eco-friendly products and services, and to facilitate achievement of SDG Target 12.7 (Implementation of Sustainable Public Procurement) in a partner country.

Theme

 Capacity building of the national government and public organizations in terms of institutionalization and implementation of green public procurement via policy consultation and technical assistance tailored to the needs of a partner country

Opening: 26th March 2019, GMT 9

Closing: 14th April 2019, GMT 9

Eligibility: The call is open to national governments or public organizations in the Asia-Pacific region where Type 1 Eco-labelling is currently in practice.

Duration: The duration of the project will vary from 12 to 24 months according to the project concept.
