CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS!

Do you see exceptional people making a difference in your Sustainable Consumption and Production activities? Participate in the contest and help us share new insights! Last year, photos submitted through the reporting tool, like those from Sustainable Lifestyles and Education Trust Fund Project ‘Sustainable lifestyles among rural families in Zimbabwe’ were featured in our Five Years In: The One Planet network 2012-2017 (Mid-term Magazine). This year, at least 7 winner sfrom the 2018 Reporting Cycle will be featured in a United Nations photo exhibition. This contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers.

The Competition in a Snapshot:

  1. Pictures of ‘SCP in Action’ can only be submitted through the One Planet Online Reporting tool.

  2. One image per One Planet network programme will be selected as an official winner.

  3. 2019’s cross-cutting theme for the entire One Planet network is Food. This is an additional category that all relevant submitted images will automatically be considered for.

  4. To enter the competition, please review the full competition rules, simply upload  photos through the reporting tool [accessible from your MySCP dashboard which you see in the upper right of the screen] with the  full name of the photographer, their e-mail and a caption that describes the image (i.e. location, name(s) of individuals depicted, description of the activity, etc.)

  5. A minimum of 7 winning photographs will be selected. Depending on the number and quality of the images received, additional winners may be selected. Both shortlisted and winning photos are likely to be considered for future One Planet network publications and awareness-raising campaigns.

  6. For the top 7 winning image selections, the photos will be featured in a United Nations photo exhibition.
