Victorian Circular Activator Launch
Welcome to the Launch of the Victorian Circular Activator (VCA).
The VCA is an emerging physical circular economy innovation hub supported by a growing network of organisations working to activate the circular economy in Victoria.
The initial two years of the project are made possible through contributions from RMIT University, RMIT Activator, Swinburne University, Circular Economy Victoria, Planet Ark's ACE Hub, City of Melbourne, and funding from the Victorian Government's Recycling Victoria Innovation Fund as part of the Circular Economy Business Innovation Centre.
Professor Usha Iyer-Raniga is at the School of Property and Construction Management at RMIT University. Usha is co-leading the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Buildings and Construction Programme (SBC), United Nations 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (UN 10FYP SCP) aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12, as well as the newly formed Integrated Platform for Circular Economy, Climate Resilience, and Energy.
Usha is one of the directors of VCA and its work is directly related to the work of the OPN SBC programme.
