KCDI Jamaica & IUC Electronic Waste Management course for the English-speaking Caribbean

The project will serve to aid CARICOM members states with the requisite training to aid them in developing a regulatory framework for the handling ,transporting and proper disposal of Electronic Waste in the region. The project will be delivered by Kevoy Community Development Institute(KCDI) Ja.and the International University of the Caribbean (IUC). Regional government will be invited to send personal from their respective Ministries/ agencies to participate in the seven weeks programme.
COURSE OBJECTIVES • Acquaint participants with methods of e-waste management • Analyze the different technologies of e-waste recycling • Evaluate the legal and regulatory framework in the field of e-waste disposal. Assess the implementation and development of progressive methodologies of e-waste disposal and recycling.
