EVENT: "Healthy, Sustainable and Inclusive Gastronomy": a workshop to grow together
During the two days prior to the 2nd global conference, the SFS Programme's core initiative "Sustainable and healthy gastronomy as a key driver for sustainable food systems" organized a workshop, bringing together several actors from across the world to discuss how to strengthen and promote the role of gastronomy - or rather "cooking", in an attempt to increase the inclusiveness of this approach - as a catalyzer for the transformation of food systems.
The workshop was an opportunity to learn from different approaches and initiatives - from the Nordic Solutions Menu, to MIGA in Bolivia, to the work done by the Fundación Costarricense de Gastronomía -, but also to exchange lessons learned and, most importantly, to discuss how to strengthen this new coalition of actors and how to mainstream cooking and gastronomy as catalyzers of food systems change. This video captures their commitment, passion and energy.
This newly expanded group of actors will be holding a side event at the EAT Forum in June - don't miss it!
