Circular Economy integration for built environment education

The webinar will highlight circular economy and its implementation in the built environment and other disciplines. Case studies presented are very diverse exploring place-based and contexts arising from different countries. These case studies will be grounded with practical implementation of CE in a wide range of scenarios, not just CE in theory and textbook-related educational outcomes. 5 universities will provide local based case studies and how CE has been implemented in their countries.

Professor Usha Iyer-Raniga is at the School of Property and Construction Management at RMIT University. Usha is co-leading the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Buildings and Construction Programme (SBC), United Nations 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (UN 10FYP SCP) aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12, as well as the newly formed Integrated Platform for Circular Economy, Climate Resilience, and Energy.
