Barely Gettin' By interview with Usha Iyer-Raniga

Historians, millennials, and friends Dr Emma Shortis and Dr Chloe Ward spend a lot of time getting angry at the way public discussion about history and politics is dominated by the same voices. So they started a podcast. With the support of RMIT, Emma and Chloe host the Barely Gettin’ By podcast. They talk about a history of the present for the big issues of our time in a world that, in the words of Dolly Parton, is “all takin’ and no givin’’.

Professor Usha Iyer-Raniga is at the School of Property and Construction Management at RMIT University. Usha is co-leading the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Buildings and Construction Programme (SBC), United Nations 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (UN 10FYP SCP) aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12, as well as the newly formed Integrated Platform for Circular Economy, Climate Resilience, and Energy.
