I am involved in ensuring that our procurement processes have sustainable indicators and promulgate that our contractors are sensitive to sustainability issues.  Working with the ILO we are particularly concerned about forced labour and child labour issues in the supply chain and how these can be identified and better managed through supplier engagement and education.  We are also concerned about harmful practices by our contractors including pollution, dumping of harmful waste materials etc.

With procurement and supply chain the use of appropriate packaging materials is also an area of concern for our teams in line with some of the recent ISO standards on packaging that address sustainability concerns.
