SIANI is an open and inclusive network-based communications platform dedicated to food security and agricultural development. SIANI believes in agriculture and works align with Agenda 2030 and in particular with Sustainable Development Goal 2. Hence, SIANI supports and promotes multisector dialogue and action around our vision of sustainable agriculture for food security, improving nutrition, and eradicating hunger. SIANI aims to facilitate inclusive and engaging dialogues around SDG 2, with participation from academia, the private sector, public authorities and civil society.
SIANI is well situated to mobilise members and partners to jointly support transformation towards more sustainable, rights-based food systems inclusive to smallholder farmers, small-scale entrepreneurs, and marginalised rural groups. As a multisector network, SIANI can mobilise network members in different sectors at different levels and different regions.
