As president of the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations, I am part of an organisation with over 4000 professional members operating in the mountains and open spaces all over the world. Our training programs for leaders cover the knowledge and experience of environmental issues. We are working with our 21 member associations to include sustainable travel into the services their members offer and the policies of the national associations.
