Third Issue of Annual Magazine "Lead.Innovate.Finance.Empower"
The Annual Magazine aims to gain more visibility for the STP and highlight various sustainable tourism initiatives led by programme members, providing an insightful perspective on sustainability by approaching it through the prism of partnership, policy, people and planet.
In this third annual edition, the One Planet - Sustainable Tourism Programme magazine presents the highlights of the network's activities from 2017 to 2018. As the rebranded One Planet network mandated with a new five year strategy, this publication spotlights the four principle tenets of the Kasane Call to Action on Sustainable Tourism: Lead, Innovate, Finance, Empower and presents the achievements on the ground under each action lever. This year's edition pays special attention to the advances in leading-edge technology championing circular economy practices and scaling up sustainable consumption and production patterns in the tourism sector, in alignment with SDG12 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
