The SFS Programme Case Studies

  • Published on February 11, 2021
The case studies aim to be both a source of inspiration as well as a learning resource for food systems stakeholders, particularly governments and decision-makers, to encourage and inform their engagement in pathways for food systems transformation. Examples of interventions that have taken a 'food systems approach' or have used a 'food systems lens' remain unknown by stakeholders, lacking visibility, and thus difficulting learning and replication. The examples will illustrate different ways in which governments, communities and organizations around the globe have worked to create a more sustainable food system(s).
Influencing stakeholders to tackle complex food systems issues by applying a food systems approach through inclusive, multi-stakeholder deliberative processes. The food Systems Summit is a great opportunity to share knowledge and stimulate inspiration and political will.
