Scientific paper "Nature Based Solutions (NBS) for sustainable and resilient cities: experiences from Europe and Brazil" for SBE19 Helsinki Conference (22-24 May 2019)
The main goal was to showcase relevant examples of successful NBS that have been recently implemented or are under development in both Europe and Brazil. Another goal was to discuss the opportunities offered by NBS (even in periods of economic downturn), but also the limiting factors hindering their wider dissemination.
The feedback received was very good, and the presentation raised a lot of curiosity because even though NBS is not an entirely new concept, it can be considered somewhat an emerging one, and therefore many people are not very familiar with it.
