School meals as a recipe to transform food systems

Considering school meals as an opportunity to transform food systems, partly forging the eating habits of entire generations, Sweeden Food Agency and Sweeden's Innovation Agency have decided to experience a new way to provide food in school canteens with prototypes. Some schools have been involved in this programme, trying to provide more plant-based food, some of them unknown to children, and involving them in the design, shape and development of school meals.
