Ministerial declaration of the 2018 high-level political forum on sustainable development,

In 2018, the forum reviewed progress on Goal 12 of Sustainable consumption and production. This presented the opportunity to: • Position the One Planet network as an implementation mechanism for Goal 12; • Launch new initiatives, including the new strategy 'One Plan for One Planet'; • Showcase major achievements of the network over the first 5 years; • Mobilise political support.

The 'One Planet network at the High Level Political Forum in numbers • 3,300 visitors to 'Camp One Planet' exhibition • 1 ministerial declaration referencing the One Planet network (or 10YFP) • 20 interventions on the One Planet network (or 10YFP) during the official review of Goal 12 • 7 voluntary national reviews referencing the One Planet network (or 10YFP) • Over 20 side events showcasing initiatives of the One Planet network • 19 Ministers, Vice-Ministers, State Secretaries, Commissioner and UN Under-Secretary Generals participated to the ministerial breakfast on SDG 12. • 10 official documents referencing the One Planet network • 2 new initiatives launched • 100% increase in twitter engagement
