Driving Innovation in the Food Value Chains to Reduce Plastic Pollution in the Tourism Sector in the Philippines
The “Driving Innovation in the Food Value Chains to Reduce Plastic Pollution in the Tourism Sector (IFVC)” project, under the TVC Project in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature – Philippines (WWF-Philippines), was implemented through various activities from June 2021 to November 2022. The main objective of the IFVC project was to assess the use of problematic plastic products related to the provision of food and beverage services and to co-create solutions to address this challenge through a design-thinking process engaging value chain stakeholders of food and beverage products, tourism businesses offering food and beverage services, technology providers, and consumers.
