Development of National LCA Inventories for Hydro Powerplants, Refineries and Sanitary Landfields
The goal of this activity is to provide scientific-based information to national government and consumers of 3 main sectors in order to include environmental impact data in their decision
The engagement with several of the private companies operating the refineries and the hydropower plants was dificult in the first stages. They were reluctant to share information about their operations. Once it was shown the value of this LCA studies for their own improvement the engagement with them was perfect.
