Circular Economy in Tourism in South East Europe

Considering that the traditional “take-make-dispose” economic model endangers the achievement of the globally agreed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and that moving towards the circular economy will be critical for addressing climate change and resource overuse, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of Slovenia in partnership with the European Commission organized the Conference on Circular Economy in Tourism in South East Europe, in Ljubljana on May 08th, 2018.
