Case Study Marine Stewardship Council - Guidelines for Providing Product Sustainability Information
This case study forms part of the project ‘Testing the Applicability of the Guidelines for Providing Product Sustainability Information'. The aim is to share a practical application of the Guidelines’ principles by companies and standard-setting organizations.
This case study showcases how Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) has applied the Guidelines' principles to its Fisheries Standard which requires fisheries to ensure that environmental impacts are minimized, and that fish stocks are effectively managed and sustainable.
