Biodiversity learning kit

This educational kit was a joint effort betwen experts across diverse disciplines including education, pedagogy, biological sciences, ecology, languages, and cultural diversity. UNESCO developed this kit in close collaboration with the Secretariat of the Convetion on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet). This freely available, two volume publication is available in thee languages (English, French, Spanish) to serve as a reference for understanding the often hard to grasp concept of biodiversity.

The relevance to sustainable consumption and production is clear. Biodiversity binds us all together. Understanding how we, as consumers, can protect it will make us more conscious in our everyday lives and lead to more sustainable consumption habits.
