Advocacy Toolkit - People centred advocacy for a more sustainable food system

  • Published on January 14, 2019
To support and train local and national CSOs in designing advocacy strategies to engage in and influence the debate on sustainable food, diets, and agriculture.
In Indonesia, Zambia and Bolivia, partner workshops have been organised to train CSO partners of the Hivos/IIED Sustainable Diets for All (SD4All) programme. The partner CSOs have used several of the tools of the Advocacy Toolkit to design and implement their own advocacy strategies towards local and national government. To most CSOs trained, the Toolkit has been of great use as it increased their understanding and knowledge of different ways to engage successfully in a policy debate/push for a specific agenda with decision makers.
