Wind solar dehydrators for the wasted crop

Solar wind dehydrators built with recycled barrels to add value to the discard of the fruit and vegetable harvest and the generation of associative self-employment with graduates of agro-technical schools
Assisting the agricultural producer with a tool for dehydrating with solar energy the agricultural crop that loses value due to its size or appearance. The crops waste often exceeds 30% of production, the value added to agricultural crops with solar energy solves the gastronomic needs of local population and generates job opportunities and social inclusion of young people. In Argentina, more than 30% of the agricultural harvest is considered waste, by aspect, scale, or market, and each year more than 600,000 hectares of vegetables are grown. This represents more than 180,000,000 kilos thrown in the trash per harvest, it can be dehydrated and consumed out of season, transported with a weight of less than 10% of its original weight, with a very low logistics cost, producing more than 720.000.000 of nutritious soup units. More than 5% of the Argentine population lives on agricultural production, many of them are smallholder producers with less than two hectares harvested, 250,000 productive establishments involving 2,000,000 people, the opportunity is to build a dehydrator for each of the establishments that seek to give value to the discards of their harvest. We train young graduates of technical schools, relatives of agricultural producers, in the construction and installation of low-cost solar dehydrators with recycled raw materials, we install them in the rural communities, to provide an added value service through the dehydrated solar energy, the production of soups, stews, pickles, cookies, bars and granola, and sell to catering companies with high Sustainable Development Goals that seek food for their employees, with social environmental inclusive impact with zero kilometer, and zero carbon footprint.
