"Waste for food" community campaign in the Amazon in the way to implement a waste management program for local communities.

The first operation was just a test with 20 families. We collect 150kg of waste (100 plastic, 20 cans and 30 paper) We give 40kg of rice, sugar and salt to the families which participate to the program Communities and Authorities where very grateful to the action We will now optimise the process in the way to include more communities of the region. We would like the local communities to be conscious that all the non-organic waste have to be recycled. That's why we are working on sensibilisation with adults and children in the way to reduce non-organic waste in the region.
