Training of entreprises (SMEs) on Ecolabelling and compliance with sustainability specifications for Sustainable Public Procurement
The objective was to train at least 25 companies, especially the SMEs that supply priority goods and services.
As part of the SPPEL project activities in Colombia, technical assistance for SMEs to comply the Sustainable Public Procurement and Ecolabelling criteria had been planned. The objective was to train at least 25 companies, especially the SMEs that supply priority goods and services. Specialized training materials (on consumption and sustainable production) were developed to address business needs and cover topics such as: SCP criteria, eco-labels and voluntary standards of sustainability, life-cycle approaches, eco-innovation, cleaner production, social responsibility, marketing and strategy for the management and improvement of international competitiveness in terms of sustainability. The training took place in 2016.
