Stockholm already has one of the world's most ambitions environmental programs. Reaching its goal of becoming fossil fuel free by 2050 means taking one of largest challenges to date - to become a sustainable city!
A fossil fuel free city! In order to get there, we believe Stockholm must utilize one of its main resources - the water. Stockholm 2050 seeks to combine innovative ways in answering Stockholm's current planning issues, and is carefully proposed to inspire the consideration of multiple sustainable design strategies that contribute to an overall sustainable urban profile.
