Show and Tell "Turning wasteland into organic produce"

  • Published on November 30, 2018
Semiarid wasteland is cultivated using a unique selection of fodder shrubs, paired with complementary specialty crops like grapevines or vegetables, continuously monitored by a SaaS farm management system, using smart sensors, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics. The "wasteland to organic produce" processes are showcased at an experimental "farm and village", open to the general public. Objective is not only sustainable production, but also sustainable living and tourism.
Objective of the initiative is to showcase that "wasteland to organic produce" is possible anywhere in the world. Further, the village on the experimental farm will be built using inexpensive used shipping containers The processes are fully developed and successfully tested. We expect the general public to take a strong interest in the initiative. Although the pilot project will be set up in California first, it can be implemented anywhere in the world. We showcase a turn-key solution how sustainable production and sustainable living will make a difference. We are open to additional investors and strategic partners.
