RenoValue is a training toolkit for valuers on how to factor energy efficiency and renewable energy issues into valuation practices, understand the impact of building performance and property values and advise their clients accordingly. It was developed by an EU funded consortium in 2016.
The free training material was developed to provide valuers with a more profound knowledge base regarding the potential impact of sustainability features on various economic building performance aspects, respective information sources, as well as methodological and theoretical guidance. The training material was developed through a series of pan-European valuation stakeholder round tables and face-to-face pilot sessions. By December 2017, more than 1700 people from 25 European countries and beyond had enrolled in the free multi-lingual online course hosted on the RICS Online Academy: https://academy.rics.org/ Available languages: German, English, Dutch, Polish, Italian, French, Swedish, Greek A free set of slides for in-house face-to-face training sessions can be downloaded from the RenoValue website.
