Reducing Household Consumption Induced CO2 Emission through Behavioral Adjustment.
The project aimed at promoting sustainable lifestyle through education and policy advocacy that enhances reduction in carbon footprints by adjustments to household consumption habits that leads to Co2 emission The project targets 150,000 direct beneficiaries in Nigeria. It will also ensure sustainable consumption and production pattern in SDG Goal 12 which promotes resource and energy efficiency , sustainable infrastructure and access to basic services, green and decent job.
1.To reduce CO2 emission arising from household consumption of energy, food, or mobility; 2.To mainstreaming sustainable lifestyles into formal education 3.To make sustainable lifestyles a focus in every learning environment. The moment all people both consumers and producers at all levels see themselves as producers of CO2 emissions coming from their metabolic activities and to be aware that through simple good practices and habits, those emissions could start diminishing.
