FIELD RESEARCH AND PROJECTS CENTER
The research and project program is geared towards continued work that ensures we are building a sustainable business conservation model for our communities and the environment, our work involves carrying out wildlife field studies to improve the understanding of wildlife ecology, status and conservation requirements. Field studies aim to find sustainable solution for the co-existence of our wildlife species alongside community people. Our research contributes directly to advocacy work with government, training of protected area communities in the identification and handling of threats to these species and outreach work with communities surrounding protected areas. We are highly committed to developing practical solutions that mitigate wildlife-human conflict, environmental damage, climate change, and biodiversity loss, and that address sustainable livelihoods, land use, and rural poverty issues. These issues are intertwined and must be addressed simultaneously to achieve lasting and meaningful conservation.
SUMMER INSTITUTE Red Rocks conservation center summer Institute offers short-term opportunities to work on conservation and research projects with regional and local conservators through providing an opportunity for your direct exposure to diverse wildlife plus engaging students in the preservation and conservation of nature by combining the study and discussion of principles and best practices for sustainable conservation with hands-on experience.
We encourage our summer interns to take on the role of working with the local leadership or government authorities and through active participation together we effectively develop solutions to these foreseen community conservation challenges
