Municipal Initiative "Sustainable Businesses"

The general objective of the project "Iniciativa Municipal - Promoción de Comercios Sostenibles 2020 - 2023” is to promote good environmental practices in commercial establishments and authorized merchants in the public space of the Cercado, Perú. The specific objectives are:

1) Promoting the reduction of single-use plastic.

2) Promoting the correct management and recovery of used vegetable oil.

3) Promoting reuse and recycling, carrying out the correct segregation of solid waste.

4) Promoting the responsible and sustainable use of water and electricity services.

This project seeks to encourage commercial establishments and authorized merchants in the public space of the Cercado de Lima, sustainable practices that benefit the form of sale, production and consumption of food. In this sense, the participants of this project will be recognized by the institution if they have good practices in Reduction of single-use plastics, Management and recovery of used vegetable oil, Segregation at the source, Efficient energy consumption and Efficient consumption of water.
