LIFE Level(s) (Life for Lca Lcc Level(s))
The project Life for Lca Lcc Level(s), (shorter: LIFE Level(s)), is co funded by the LIFE Programme of the European Commission. It started on 1st of October 2019 and will end in 30th of September 2022. The main idea of the project is to mainstream sustainable buildings in Europe through greater awareness and use of the specified indicators within the framework of Level(s), a set of common EU indicators to address life cycle environmental performance of buildings.
The main purpose of the Dissemination and Communication Strategy of LIFE Level(s) project is to create a framework through which the various project outcomes such as concepts, results, tools used, methodologies, problems faced, are shared across the targeted communities, while using appropriate methods. By that, those willing to engage in the development and execution of the project can be identified and engaged to actively participate. Furthermore, the idea of the strategy is to strengthen the awareness of the project’s concept and vision, and the acceptance of its outcomes on a large scale by establishing a well-defined, impact based strategy to support replication and uptake of the LIFE Level(s) results beyond its duration. To reach the ultimate scope to improve the engagement and acceptance indicators and reach the planned impacts, dissemination and communication objectives will need to be tuned with the project progress and new possible targets, tools, channels and strategies will have to be included.
Dissemination and communication activities are considered to be of utmost importance because the impact of the project can be fully realised only if the results are widely communicated to the public. The Dissemination and Communication Strategy is developed on the basis of specified tasks under the project Action D1: Raising awareness of Level(s) – Communication and Dissemination, and the rules governed by the Internal Agreement signed by the partners.
This document describes the approach that will be used in communicating the project output during its duration. It contains the main objectives, targets, tools and channels to be utilised, but also operative guidelines, visual identity guidelines and the key messages underlying the overall LIFE Level(s) communication.
The defined target groups will be approached through a variety of communication formats and channels including project website, social media profiles, workshops, webinars, participation at the selected events and networking with similar project and initiatives, leaflets, e-newsletter, news releases.l Strategy is divided into three structural elements:
1) Methodology and approach: representing dissemination process and methods, this section provides an overview of the crucial dissemination and communication oriented tools and channels
2) Dissemination and communication materials: as the project actions are executed, various dissemination and communication materials will be used to provide information about the project
3) Dissemination channels: this sections envelops the different channels of communication to be used in the process of dissemination and distribution of materials
