LFHW Global Network

WRAP has developed a network of organisations from across the world who license the Love Food Hate Waste brand. The group meets via video conference on a quarterly basis to share knowledge, insights experiences and best practice around engaging citizens on food waste prevention. WRAP, who facilitate these meetings, want this sharing of knowledge to help with the reduction of food waste in the countries/ regions of all the participants.
Meetings are always really interesting and all attendees share information openly, it's a friendly and passionate group and everyone is keen to learn. As a result, WRAP has convened additional meetings on specific topics e.g. reducing food waste in the hospitality sector and communicating food waste prevention and plastics messages to consumers. This network has been so successful that members are looking to create an additional network to discuss plastics. To support further shared learning and collaboration, WRAP has also set up a member only virtual space whereby the group can share documents and their campaign materials between themselves. We also manage a LFHW Around the World campaign planner so that LFHW licensees and WRAP can plot past, present and future campaign activities and share key learnings.
