Implementation of 6 School Upscale Projects for GSSS

The response from the schools has been fantastic, all projects were a success as it was something they had chosen - it was empowering for them to see the positive changes the projects had made with their own eyes eg the reduced smoke from the mashesha stoves, so the cooks werent inhaling as much smoke, quicker cooking time, vegetables thriving in the vegetable tunnels, happy free-range chickens laying eggs and roaming freely, lower electricity bill due to solar water geyser . SEE INDIVIDUAL CASE STUDY WRITE UPS ATTACHED Challenges: Yes more due to the issue of the Covid 19 pandemic not enabling us to continue with the remaining schools ADVICE: Let the beneficiaries decide on the projects, make them part of the organising process, conmmunicate often and ask for feedback.
