Our goal is to promote a more respectful bond of people with nature. We work for the eradication of hunger and poverty, the promotion of gender equality and women's autonomy, environmental sustainability and fostering strategic alliances for sustainable development. Taking this purpose into account, we specialize in organic gardens, through which people are offered the opportunity to enjoy the land, regardless of the space available. Custom Orchards We design and teach you to maintain your garden in houses, communities, companies or institutions. From your garden to the table When you need vegetables or aromatics directly from your organic garden, we design for hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, among others. Training and Workshops We offer workshops and sensitization training, education and awareness to individuals, communities, students, organizations and private companies. As part of sustainable development and in support of the programs of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, as well as the World Food Program, our proposal is to create organic gardens in vulnerable communities. The AIAF 10 Decade for Family Farming 2019-2028 initiative, within its broad framework of action, has three central axes, focusing on two groups of population especially relegated in decision-making processes: women and the youths. We work for the eradication of hunger, poverty and malnutrition, the promotion of gender equality of women and girls, the autonomy of women, environmental sustainability and fostering strategic alliances for sustainable development. To carry out the activities, it is necessary the previous training of the volunteers, with an introductory workshop, as well as the monitoring and support for sustainable food production, guaranteeing the food security of the communities in which we work. These rural communities are located in the western part of the Province of Alajuela, where approximately 300,000 people live. Following appropriate policies, this initiative can contribute to gender equality, the conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity, the protection of natural and cultural heritage, and offer solutions to many other pressing challenges in the region. Likewise, sustainable production and consumption through organic gardens can stimulate dialogue, foster mutual understanding and support efforts to build a culture of peace.
