Developing an interdisciplinary teaching program on sustainable development

The collaboration with Wang Toppidrett has been very fruitful. Centre for Collaborative Learning for Sustainable Development (CCL) was approached by Wang Toppidrett after some of their teachers participated in a workshop led by CCL. Wang had applied for funding for a project that would develop an interdisciplinary teaching program on sustainable development with progression from lower secondary school to upper secondary school. CCL has contributed to the project with expertise and has also held several workshops and lectures at the school. The main results from this project is the development of an interdisciplinary teaching program on sustainable development with progression over 3 years from lower secondary school to upper secondary school. The students at Wang Toppidrett will have received a deeper understanding of sustainable development and how their choices impact their direct environment, their local and national environment and the world at large.
