Bogota & Marrakesh: Sustainable Lifestyles in the Workplace

This project will bring together business, educational institutions, and intergovernmental organizations to collaborate on and produce models for companies and UN organizations to integrate efforts which promote more sustainable lifestyles in the workplace. These models will be based on in-depth mapping, expert infosharing, and research to explore and implement pilot models for typical employees in the workplace that are replicable in cities across the globe, adapted to cultural contexts.

UN Environment, together with its partners, produced tailor-made strategies to workplaces of hotels in Marrakesh, to facilitate more sustainable lifestyles among the co-workers in and out of the workplaces. This 18 month long project concluded with visual communication tools and a best practices model that will help raise awareness on sustainable lifestyles. 7 hotels participated in the pilot implementation and all of them have committed to continue and expand their work.
