Simran Vedvyas the Founder of Synergy highlighted that- “It is easy to sit up and take notice. What is difficult is getting up and taking action. Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. In a world where there is so much to be done, I felt strongly impressed that there is something for me to do and I feel opportune leading SynergY.” To ratify why landfill site was chosen for this distribution, Simran added- “I chose Dubai Municipality landfill sites because we planted several trees in the past at some of the landfills in UAE and understood how much of hard work these people do for us and this would be our way to express gratitude and share time with them during the holy month of Ramadan." Eng. Sadin Ismail Al Falasi, Head of Treatment Systems Unit from Waste Management Department and several other senior Dubai Municipality officials present during the Iftar meal distribution appreciated the initiative taken by SynergY for arranging the Iftaar meal for the labors who are working in harsh conditions in the Landfill area.
