Sustainable Public procurement Action Plan of Mongolia

This National Action Plan on SPP is based on a desk study and findings of the Status Assessment Report, Market Readiness Report, SPP Prioritization Report, Legal Review Report as well as feedback from the technical consultative meeting organized on 18th of September of 2017.
The Action Plan for implementation of Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) is developed as part of the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) - an initiative of UN Environment, the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) – as well as the European Commission-funded and UN Environment-led Stimulating Demand and Supply of Sustainable Products through Sustainable Public Procurement and Eco-Labeling (SPPEL) Project. The action plan is based on the publication of UN Environment in the areas of SPP and incorporates the reports and studies of Mongolia taken with the support and technical assistance of PAGE/UN Environment on SPP and SPP Guidelines for Mongolia developed between 2015 and 2017.
