The green standards for hospitals are the 1st of its kind green standards. Quality and Accreditation Institute of India and Heath Environment Leadership Platform are implementing tases standards in India. Training sessions have been organised for the inspectors and hospitals Feedback and Challenges: Sustainable public procurement is still not mandatory in hospital procurement processes. One planet network to advocate SPP in health sector and work closely with the ministries of health to include SPP in the health sector. The importance of SPP is even more today as the health sector is in immense pressure to maintain it's supply chain and at the same time build back green and better.
