Pelalawan Regional Regulation (PERDA) on Corporate Social Responsibility

The Pelalawan Regional Regulation (PERDA) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with added clauses on private sector obligation to assist smallholders was drafted, proposed and legalized in 2018. This Policy aims to unlock private sector funds to finance district development agenda including smallholder support and to support to smallholders tailored to needs thanks to participatory “marketplace platform” allowing local communities to share their desired CSR funded activities.

This Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) policy will foster private sector financial support to smallholders in order to advance sustainable palm oil production through alignment with the district development plan.
