Natura 2000 Program for general education
Under the Widening the Green Kindergarten and Ecoschool Movements project (between 2012 and 2016), 14 types of regional Natura 2000 activity guides and booklets as well as a Natura 2000 game application were developed and disseminated. Training courses were created and accredited for both teachers and kindergarten teachers. These products are contributed to integrate the topic of sustainable production into the curricula. The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary.
Awareness-raising to local values and promoting sustainable production were key messages and contents in the resources developed and disseminated in the program.
