Municipal energy and climate advisory service
The purpose of municipal energy and climate advisory service is to provide energy related advice to the target groups households, organizations and companies (SME). Advisors should deliver energy advice of local and regional basis, commercially independent and free of charge. The advice aims to increase energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources.
The energy and climate advisory service contributes to energy efficient measures in the target groups. The number of energy efficient measures increases, and the knowledge base is better in the target group due to the advisory service. Moreover, the advisory service increases the effect of other state supported policy instruments.The advisors provide information and awareness raising to consumers about energy labelling, lighting, heating, electronics and other energy consuming goods.
